Role Overview
West Caithness Health and Social Care Integrated Team – William Smith House, Thurso – seeks motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join a multidisciplinary team. The role involves working with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care, supporting service users to maximise and maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support and assistance to service users to maximise and maintain their independence.
* Deliver high standards of patient care in support of the team to ensure the delivery of a high‑quality service to the local community.
* Maintain flexibility and use own initiative in the execution of duties.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience not required, although of benefit.
* Full training will be provided with the opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care and to pursue further career progression.
* A driving licence is essential for this post and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes. A pool vehicle is available for rural areas.
Working Hours & Benefits
* This is a permanent part‑time post of 20.16 hours per week, working 08:30 – 14:30 or as per service requirements.
* Enhancements paid for unsociable hours and weekend work.
* Additional hours also available through the integrated staff bank.

This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
