Operations Executive – School Sports Tours
Travel for Sport

Remote (UK) | Ideally based within reach of Manchester
Full-time | Permanent

About Travel for Sport
Travel for Sport is a specialist school sports tour operator delivering high-quality tours for schools across the UK and overseas. We work closely with teachers and coaches to create well-organised, safe and memorable tours that combine sport, travel and team experiences.
We're a small, friendly and ambitious team with big growth plans. As our tour programme continues to expand, we're looking for an organised and proactive Operations Executive to help us deliver exceptional tours for our school clients.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in sports travel operations within a supportive and growing company.

The Role
As an Operations Executive, you will support the end-to-end delivery of school sports tours. You'll coordinate bookings, manage logistics and ensure every tour runs smoothly from confirmation through to return.
This is a pure operations role focused on organisation, accuracy and delivery. You'll work closely with colleagues, suppliers and schools to ensure tours are well planned, compliant and delivered to a high standard.
You'll primarily work remotely, with regular in-person time with colleagues in Manchester.
No two days are the same — especially during peak tour season.

Track rooming lists, flight details and passenger information
Support invoicing and financial tracking where required
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and travel requirements are met
Prepare and manage risk assessments and key documentation
Support incident handling and reporting if required
Monitor feedback and support continuous improvement
Team Support
Work closely with sales and operations colleagues to ensure smooth handovers
Support busy periods and peak travel times
Contribute to improving processes as we grow
Take on ad-hoc operational projects
