Overview
North Cumbria Crisis Team is looking for highly motivated Clinical Support Assistants to join our newly developed Crisis Service. You will have the opportunity to base in Carlisle or Workington to deliver high quality care to our patients in the community across North Cumbria.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of an MDT, complemented by nurses, occupational therapists, social workers and medical staff.
* Assist in the delivery of care to service users with a variety of needs, diverse presentations and a range of mental health conditions, cognitive and/or learning disabilities under the direction of a registered practitioner.
* Assist in maintaining overall responsibility for each service user under the direction of the registered practitioner.
* Implement and evaluate care within a prescribed framework as a member of the care team to ensure high quality, individualised care that promotes recovery, wellbeing and maximises independence.
* Support the team in providing excellent and effective person-centred care.
* Provide compassionate care based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity.
* Actively engage with supervision and appraisal processes as identified in Trust policy.
