Business Development Manager / Account Executive - Payments / Merchant Acquiring - URGENT!
We are currently working an exciting fintech in the merchant acquiring space who is looking to hire an BDM/Account Executive to help drive growth in the UK, Ireland and Western Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive Revenue Growth: Owning revenue targets for the UK & Europe markets.
* Lead Market Engagement: Craft high-quality go-to-market strategies and materials; initiate and maintain engagement with senior executives, along with risk, commercial, and technical stakeholders at prospective partners to secure business deals.
* Enhancing Sales Processes: Building on the foundations that have been established to further enhance our clients approach to sales.
* Promoting the Brand: Continuing to increase brand awareness in the key markets we operate in, with a primary focus on the UK & Europe.
* Marketing Support: Assisting in the initial build out of the marketing function.
* Prospect Advocate: Providing a bridge between our prospects and the product/technology teams - ensuring we are building what our future customers need
Role Requirements
* Prior experience selling to Acquirers, Payment Facilitator and/or other types of payment companies.
* 5+ years of experience as an account executive focused on revenue growth.
* Experience working with the main card networks (Visa & Mastercard) and scheme compliance.
* Evidence of hitting $1M+ personal annual revenue targets on a consistent basis.
* Experience selling in both the UK & Western European markets.
* Has worked in remote working environments for 2+ years (excluding Covid).
