We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Fire and Security Project Manager to oversee the delivery of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and security installation projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
* Manage multiple fire and security installation projects simultaneously.
* Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Coordinate resources, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
* Monitor progress against milestones and report on project status.
Technical & Compliance Oversight
* Ensure projects comply with BS5839, BSEN54, BSEN50131, NSI, BAFE, and other relevant standards.
* Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover documentation.
* Manage quality control and adherence to health and safety regulations (CDM, RAMS, risk assessments).
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Act as the main point of contact for clients during project delivery.
* Attend site meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions.
* Provide technical advice and solutions to meet client requirements.
* Manage project budgets and cost control.
* Approve variations and issue change orders where necessary.
* Forecast, track, and report project financial performance.
* Lead and motivate engineers and subcontractors.
* Provide technical guidance and ensure training and development needs are met.
* Promote a positive safety and quality culture across all projects.
Requirements
* Proven track record in managing fire and security projects.
* Strong knowledge of fire detection, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
* Experience with NSI/BAFE standards and relevant legislation.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
* Valid UK driving licence.
