IFS Systems Analyst – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
We are currently seeking an IFS Systems Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the delivery of a major ERP transformation project.
The role is based in Yorkshire and is classed as hybrid working, with approximately 1 day onsite per month. Flexibility may be required during the initial weeks depending on project needs.
Role Overview:
The IFS Systems Analyst will help ensure the successful execution of the ERP transformation strategy, supporting process alignment and improvement across the organisation. You will work with stakeholders to deliver better business processes, supported by ERP and other technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse current (“As-Is”) business processes and develop future (“To-Be”) processes.
* Gather functional requirements and translate them into clear specifications.
* Support system testing, validation, and data analysis activities.
* Deliver training and guidance to super-users and other stakeholders.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement improvements.
* Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and coaching.
* Maintain documentation, including training guides and process manuals.
* Monitor issues and risks, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
* Contribute to global ERP projects, including integration, onboarding, and system sunset activities.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Systems Analyst working with IFS.
* Strong ability to communicate both high-level concepts and detailed technical designs.
* Experienced in stakeholder consultation and user training.
* Skilled in organising and analysing data to support decision-making.
* Understanding of standard business processes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
* Effective time management and prioritisation.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with JIRA.
* Exposure to data migration or system integration tools.
* Experience defining requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
* Knowledge of IFS Finance or Supply Chain modules.
* Familiarity with change management processes.
