Job Purpose
The Canal & River Trust is a charity responsible for over 2000 miles of canals, rivers, docks, and reservoirs in England and Wales. Our waterways are vital for community health, biodiversity, and climate change mitigation. We are seeking a F2F Fundraising Performance Coach to enhance our fundraising efforts through coaching, training, and direct fundraising, including meeting personal targets.
Working Hours: 37 hours, Wednesday to Sunday, including weekends.
Location
Across the Aire & Calder Navigation and Calder & Hebble Navigation, including Salterhebble, Stanley Ferry, Wakefield, and Southfield, Goole.
Key Responsibilities
* Coach and support multiple fundraising teams and individual fundraisers to meet performance targets.
* Deliver fundraising income through various methods, including face-to-face engagement and digital contactless donations.
* Lead by example in fundraising activities and uphold the Trust's values and standards.
* Conduct on-site visits, training, and performance reviews; support health & safety and compliance standards.
* Provide coaching and training to improve fundraiser performance, including psychological and technical skills.
* Recruit, onboard, and support new fundraisers in collaboration with partner agencies.
* Manage performance incentives, reports, and data securely in line with GDPR.
* Support regional fundraising strategies and deputize for the Regional F2F Fundraising Manager when needed.
Qualifications & Skills
* Valid driver’s license (required for business insurance).
* Experience in face-to-face fundraising, team leadership, and performance coaching.
* Knowledge of fundraising regulations and standards.
* Strong communication, IT, and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to regional needs.

Benefits
