you''ll be at the heart of supporting EDF''s nuclear operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of fuel route works. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your technical expertise will directly contribute to the UK's energy security and sustainability.
Responsibilities
* Act as the single point of contact for welding records
* Liaise with site and assurance leads to ensure technical accuracy
* Interface with completions teams regarding Construction Test Packs and End of Erection Status Reports
* Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely record delivery
* Support the delivery of Lifetime Quality Records documentation
This is a full-time, onsite role based at Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater, Somerset working 37 hours per week.
Essential experience
* Quality assurance or quality control background in mechanical engineering
* Experience in piping (desirable)
* Strong IT skills and experience with electronic document management systems
* Experience in safety-critical industries such as nuclear or oil and gas
* Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Qualifications
* NDE Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
* ONC/HNC/HND/C&G or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline
Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
