Our client, a well-established and respected company, is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy accounts team on a temporary basis but with the potential to become permanent in the future. This is a full time (37.5 hours per week), fully office based role, and own transport is essential due to location of the office. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the Group Accounts email inbox. Investigate and resolve queries related to incomplete or incorrect invoices. Code and process invoices, ensuring timely distribution for approval. Correct coding errors and follow up on unsigned invoices. Assist with statement reconciliations. Set up new suppliers on the system. Provide general support to the accounts team as needed. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
