We are looking for a confident and self-motivated Carpenter to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who can multi-task and carry out small works in other trade disciplines.
About the Role: As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to council properties. Your work will involve a variety of carpentry tasks, including:
* Installation, maintenance, and repairs of doors, windows, and general woodwork.
* UPVC installation and property maintenance.
* Small works in other trade areas such as basic plumbing, plastering, or decorating.
* Liaising with residents, peers, and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in carpentry and property maintenance within a social housing or similar environment.
* Knowledge of UPVC installation would be an advantage.
* A practical understanding of the construction and property maintenance industry.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication and customer service skills, as you will be engaging with residents and colleagues daily.
