This automotive first tier manufacturer is looking to attract into their operations team a Materials Scheduler who will proactively manage customer orders to ensure they are received on time and in full.
Typical responsibilities within the key role of Materials Scheduler will be to: -
* Produce the weekly materials schedules in line with factory capabilities, lead times and customer demand.
* Closely monitor incoming customer schedules, reporting on demand movements.
* Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring customers are kept up to date on order progress.
* Liaise with production, sales and purchasing re any issues/changes to customer supply and demand.
* Maintain system information to ensure accurate stock data and material availability.
The successful candidate will: -
* Have a logical approach.
* Be experienced in supply chain operations.
* Be a strong communicator.
* Have worked within a manufacturing operation.
