Systems Engineer (Contract)
Location: Stockport / Manchester (hybrid, with UK clinic travel)

The role
They're looking for a hands-on Systems Engineer to cover two time-sensitive infrastructure projects across their clinical network, with the potential to stay on in a permanent capacity. This is a field-focused role - the right person is comfortable working independently on site, professional in clinical environments, and doesn't mind getting on a train (or in a car) to get the job done.
What you'll be doing
Project 1 – Windows 11 rollout across multiple clinic sites (approx. 30 PCs per site).
Project 2 – Storage upgrades and data migration of NAS devices.
What they're looking for
Essential:
* Field or MSP engineering background — comfortable working alone on site
* Windows 11 deployment experience
* Familiarity with NAS/storage devices (QNAP experience a plus)
* Access to a car (Reading and Bristol are not practical by public transport)
* Willingness to travel across England with overnight stays
* Professional and discreet around members of the public
Desirable:
* Asset management and PC imaging experience
* Service desk background
* Interest in a permanent role within a growing IT team
