As a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering effective service desk support. You will collaborate closely with the IT field team to resolve issues and ensure smooth operation of systems for the company and its clients.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring and addressing issues raised via the logging system and phone.
* Providing 2nd/3rd line support for IT incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.
* Performing routine maintenance and updates on application operating systems and anti-virus software.
* Ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
* Assisting with data retrieval and backup management, both onsite and cloud-based.
* Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including diagrams and knowledge articles.
* Performing patching and system maintenance on Linux and Windows environments.
* Managing and configuring firewalls for network security.
* Maintaining VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter, and Horizon environments.
* Administering Active Directory for access and permissions management.
* Using vulnerability scanning tools like Nessus to identify and fix vulnerabilities.
* Managing Azure cloud resources and services for cloud infrastructure.
Work Schedule:
The role will initially follow regular daytime hours. As demand grows, it will transition to an 8-8, 3-day-per-week schedule later this year. Candidates must be open to working shifts, including evenings and weekends.
