Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking School. In this role, you will work with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, delivering high-quality, personalized learning that enables every child to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Use a range of strategies and interventions to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation.
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents/carers to ensure holistic support for each pupil.
Track progress and maintain accurate records, providing insightful feedback and reporting.
Contribute to the wider school community and champion best practice in SEND provision.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status / Proven experiences in Planning, Preparing and Marking
Experience working with children with SEND (ASD, SEMH, SLD, MLD, or other needs).
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and adaptive practice.
Resilient, creative, patient, and committed to seeing every pupil succeed.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A reflective practitioner with a desire for continued professional development.
