Job Description
Morgan Hunt are seeking skilled and reliable Painters to join our Housing Maintenance team within a large local authority. The role involves working across a range of residential properties, including void (empty) homes and tenanted properties, helping to maintain and improve housing standards across the community.Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating, including surface preparation, emulsion, glossing, and finishing
* Prepare and redecorate void properties ready for new tenants
* Undertake maintenance and redecoration work in occupied homes
* Ensure high-quality finishes in line with required standards
* Identify and report any additional maintenance issues within properties
* Work safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
* Deliver a professional and respectful service when working in tenanted properties
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Painter, ideally within social housing or maintenance
* Ability to carry out a wide range of decorating tasks to a high standard
* Good knowledge of materials, techniques, and surface preparation
* Full UK driving licence (van provided for work use)
* Strong attention to detail and time management skills
* Good communication and customer service skills
