Offer description

We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised and empower them to be their best. That's why we're building the go-to brand focused squarely on delivering just that.

We have consistently built our in-house expertise and spent millions in research and development on our relentless pursuit to making the best products possible. Over the past 10 years we have focused on pushing the performance of products and creating engaging content to guide millions of customers to high quality Mous products rather than making cheap products for Amazon's algorithm.

We're creating products that empower people to be their best, whether they're on a wild adventure or commuting through the city. No matter what your everyday life looks like you can trust our products to remove frustrations, expand your experiences and help you to live without limits.

About the Role

We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Digital Product Designer to be a part of our expanding team! As we grow both steadily and swiftly, we're embarking on numerous new digital projects to enhance the website buying experience for users.

You’ll be responsible for translating Mous’ premium visual identity into a high-performance, elegant, and intuitive digital experience, while leading both large-scale improvement projects and smaller, ongoing UX enhancements.

About You

As a Digital Product Designer at Mous, you’ll work collaboratively with our Brand & Creative and eComm teams. You will report directly to our Graphic Design Lead, working closely with our E-Commerce Product Lead.

Key Responsibilities

* Own the UX and UI design of the Mous website across all devices.
* Translate our brand identity into a fast, responsive, elegant, and intuitive digital experience.
* Lead major website improvement projects
* Drive ongoing UX enhancements including CRO A/B Tests, new functionality and accessibility improvements.
* Conduct user research and usability testing, using insights to iterate and validate design decisions.
* Collaborate with developers, consultants, and eComm teams to ensure high-quality execution.
* Balance user needs with commercial goals, ensuring every change delivers impact.

How will success be measured?

* Demonstrating commercial impact through improved conversion and customer experience.
* Delivering the brand redesign across the site to ensure premium, consistent quality.
* Establishing and refining user-centred design processes, including documentation and usability testing.
* Onboarding effectively within 3 months: auditing the design system, leading at least one end-to-end initiative, and embedding yourself into team workflows.

Skills Requirements

Must-haves:

* 3+ years’ experience in UX/UI or digital product design.
* Strong portfolio showcasing UX process, prototyping, and polished responsive UI.
* Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Webflow, Framer).
* Solid knowledge of user-centred design, especially mobile-first.
* Experience in usability testing and user research.
* Familiarity with agile processes and cross-functional collaboration.
* Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.

Nice-to-have:

* Experience designing for Shopify or eCommerce platforms.
* CRO or A/B testing experience.
* Motion/interaction design knowledge.
* Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven design.
* HTML/CSS knowledge.

Soft skills:

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
* Highly collaborative; comfortable working with devs, marketers, and external partners.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Confident in taking ownership and driving structure.
* Commercially aware, outcome-driven, and curious.

About Our Offer

We have a hybrid approach to working at Mous so our team can have flexibility during the week, and we can retain the collaborative and vibrant Mous culture that people love.

* Opportunity to radically grow and develop through new experiences.
* Multi-functional teams of passionate, supportive and inspiring people
* A competitive salary reflective of your experience and value
* 30% discount for F&F on all Mous products
* 1-month paid leave after 5-years of service
* Regular on-site activities at our Hoxton office
* Regular department and whole-team socials
* 25 days' holiday, plus 8 bank holidays
* Cycle to Work Scheme
* Employee Assistance Programme
* Charlie HR perks package including discounts on hundreds of high street brands and services

About Our Values

We have established 3 core values, which inform and enhance the way we work.

* Get Results: By comprehending our business plan, each person can ensure that they are taking accountability for their contribution towards it.
* Work Together: We value collaboration highly, recognising that there’s a lot to be learned from each other, and are always prepared to listen.
* Enjoy The Ride: We invite everyone at Mous to grab new opportunities and find ways to make each role their own.

About Our Commitment

Mous is an equal opportunity employer, and as a brand, we value authenticity and integrity. We strive to be different and know that if we are to create the most innovative products and deliver the best customer experience, we need to build a diverse team of individuals who can bring a variety of skills, experiences, and perspectives to the table.
