Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our growing specialist firm based in Altrincham. This is a part-time, on-site role (3 days per week).
Our business works with companies and their professional advisers across a range of technical and financial projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the team through administrative coordination, client communication, and information management, helping to ensure projects progress smoothly and efficiently.
This is a varied position with scope to develop over time, making it well suited to someone who enjoys being organised, communicative, and central to keeping operations running effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Contacting clients and accountants to request and follow up on required information
Managing and tracking outstanding information requests to ensure deadlines are met
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
Scheduling calls and coordinating diaries where required
Handling incoming calls and correspondence professionally
Providing day-to-day administrative support to leadership and team members
Supporting smooth office operations through general administrative duties
Skills & Experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
Confident and professional phone manner
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to plan your own workload, use initiative, and meet deadlines
Comfortable following up persistently and professionally
Strong clerical skills including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and able to perform well under pressure
Previous experience in a professional office environment is desirable
