Commercial Manager

How will you be the change?
As a Commercial Manager, you will manage and deliver all commercial and financial aspects of contracts, ensuring obligations are met, risks are controlled, and value is maximised. You will proactively manage stakeholder relationships, including client representatives, to ensure alignment and successful commercial outcomes.
* Support the management and mitigation of risks at all levels (operational, financial, commercial, technical, etc.).
* Manage variation and change control.
* Serve as a repository for confidential/commercially sensitive information.
* Ensure governance compliance with contract and internal requirements.
* Aide the quality of service by ensuring awareness of contractual responsibilities among all Bellrock colleagues.
* Assist in searching for efficiencies and service optimisation.
* Ensure commercial compliance through audit.
* Support cash management.
* Provide commercial support and governance to projects and supply chain.
What does it take?
To excel as a Commercial Manager, you’ll need:
* Suitable commercial experience within the Hard FM industry and NEC contracts.
* Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyse complex data and documentation accurately.
* Sound understanding of risk analysis/management.
* Ability to deliver on commercial, financial, risk, and business continuity perspectives.
* Ability to develop commercial responsibility and acumen within the operational delivery team.
* Experience working with finance to understand financial performance and improvement over contracts.
Your core qualities and attributes
* Strong negotiation skills.
* PC literate with knowledge of MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication skills with senior members of organisation, suppliers, and customers.
* Influencing skills to bring a more effective commercial approach.
Working arrangements
Hybrid work from the West Sussex Office and home address, Monday to Friday 08:30‑17:00. Flexible working practices are embraced.
