We are looking for a qualified Chef with experience working in a care home or a similar setting.
The role offers 36 hours per week with 3 x 12-hour shifts, covering 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.

Key responsibilities of the role:
1. Work with the Head Chef to deliver catering services within the care home.
2. Prepare food for residents according to nutrition, hydration, and dietary guidelines.
3. Maintain high standards of food provision and service to residents, staff, and visitors.
4. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
5. Ensure all health and safety records and monitoring adhere to statutory requirements.
You should be educated to NVQ Level 3 in Preparation and Cooking or an equivalent qualification, and possess an intermediary food hygiene certificate. Excellent communication skills, experience maintaining standards in catering according to Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations, and good IT skills are essential.
