ICT Security and Governance Senior Support Officer - Holywell Hospital, Antrim Looking to build your career in cyber security within the Public Sector? This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking Public Sector team in Antrim as an ICT Security Support Officer, supporting the protection and integrity of critical systems and data. About the role:
1. £19.78 per hour
2. Location: Holywell Hospital, Antrim
3. Monday - Friday
4. 37.5 hours a week
5. Temporary, on going

What you'll be doing in this role:
7. Support ICT Security & Governance projects, producing guidance, processes, and training materials
8. Manage day-to-day information requests and enquiries
9. Coordinate and monitor KPIs, metrics, and audit actions to ensure deadlines are met
10. Promote a consistent approach to ICT and Information Security across teams
11. Provide advice on security risks, mitigation, and control measures
12. Assist in developing and updating policies and procedures
13. Produce reports to monitor policy implementation and compliance
14. Support delivery of ICT security training (e.g. cyber awareness)
15. Conduct initial assessments of security incidents and complaints
16. Coordinate processes relating to security initiatives and risk management
17. Support responses to information requests in line with legislation
18. Stay updated on cyber risks, legislation, and best practice
19. Monitor compliance and recommend improvements
20. Contribute to projects, meetings, and cross-organisational collaboration
What you'll need for this role:
21. ICT-related degree with 2 years’ experience in ICT Security/Governance
22. OR HNC/HND (or equivalent) with 3 years’ relevant experience (Band 5+)
23. OR 5 years’ experience in an ICT Security/Governance role (Band 5+)
24. Knowledge of ICT best practice (e.g. ITIL, ISO 27001, PRINCE2)
25. Understanding of Information Security Risk Management principles
26. Strong knowledge of ICT security technologies
27. Ability to analyse and present data clearly
28. Confident handling complex technical information
29. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
30. Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and work under pressure
31. Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
32. Good knowledge of ICT hardware/software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
33. Understanding of audit processes
