Transport Operations Administrator - Thame, Oxfordshire
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum • Full-time, Permanent
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join a busy logistics team, supporting the coordination of vehicle collections and deliveries while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with insurance companies, recovery agents, bodyshops, and customers to arrange vehicle collections and deliveries.
* Supporting driver and vehicle scheduling to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Assisting with route planning in line with driver regulations, including driving hours, breaks, and rest periods.
* Communicating with drivers throughout the day and resolving operational issues professionally.
* Ensuring service standards and contractual obligations are consistently met.
* Providing general administrative support within the transport operation.
About You
* Previous experience within transport, logistics, or operational administration.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A positive, can-do attitude with good attention to detail.
* Basic vehicle knowledge or experience within the automotive/salvage sector is advantageous.
