Parkway Clinic in Swansea has a position available for a Telephonist & Administrator.
Full time 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Manage a large number of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
Follow communication "scripts" when handling different topics
Identify patient's needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
Seize opportunities to upsell treatments when they arise
Build sustainable relationships and engage patients by going the extra mile
Keep records of all conversations in our database in a comprehensive way
Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
Typing of clinical and non-clinical letters
Processing and logging referrals
Requirements
Previous experience in dentistry/hospital setting/customer support/sales advisory role desirable
Previous experience in book keeping desirable
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
An understanding of dentistry/surgical procedures would be desirable but not essential, as on the job training will be provided
Microsoft Office experience
