There is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic qualified registered nurse to join the Mansfield Healthy Family Team.
You will work in community settings, Health Centres, Schools, Family Hubs, and clients’ homes to deliver the Universal Healthy Child Programme and Tier 1 targeted health services to the local 5‑19 year‑old population.
Responsibilities
* Support the day‑to‑day management of a defined workload and deliver the Universal Healthy Child Programme as well as Tier 1 targeted health services.
* Deliver public health, universal and targeted interventions, including safeguarding, across the 5‑to‑19 year age range in line with the National and Local guidelines.
* Clinically supervise and support Senior Assistant Public Health Practitioners and Assistant Public Health Practitioners allocated to a defined geographical population.
* Work with children, young people and families within homes, schools or other identified community settings.
* Use a partnership approach to promote health and tackle health inequalities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Registered Nurse (registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council).
* Relevant experience delivering public health or universal/targeted child health programmes.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use.
* DBS check required; applicant will be required to pay for the DBS application (£26.40 standard or £54.40 enhanced; annual DBS Update Service fee £16 per year).
* UK‑resident citizenship is required; this role does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled Worker/Health & Care visa.
