ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking to appoint, from September 2025, an enthusiastic and dedicated Food and Health & Social Care HLTA. The successful candidate must have sound culinary knowledge and be able to support all aspects of the food curriculum, including:
* Supporting the teaching of small focus groups of students
* Covering food lessons when required
* Contributing to the production of outstanding resources supporting food delivery to a high standard
* Ordering supplies and maintaining stock, including online food shopping
* Resourcing lessons daily
* Supporting practical food lessons, including demonstrations
* Using ICT skills to enhance learning
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the department
* The role will also include delivering the Health and Social Care curriculum when required
* Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care Curriculum is desirable
