Milk Education is proud to be partnering with Liverpool secondary schools to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Support Assistant. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and ensuring that every young person feels supported, valued, and included.
The Role
As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will:
1. Support students with additional learning needs, behavioural needs, or social/emotional challenges
2. Work 1:1 or with small groups to build confidence, engagement, and progress
3. Assist teachers in creating an inclusive, accessible classroom environment
4. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
5. Help adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
6. Work closely with SENDCOs, pastoral teams, and teaching staff to support tailored interventions
We’re Looking For
7. Experience working with young people, ideally within a school setting
8. A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
9. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
10. Ability to remain calm, consistent, and resilient
11. Understanding of SEND, SEMH, or behaviour support (desirable but not essential)
12. A genuine passion for helping young people reach their full potential
