We are seeking a Gent Licensed Engineer to join us in this newly created role, taking ownership of a varied and growing pipeline of projects. You will play a key role in delivering new installations, overseeing system commissioning, and resolving technical challenges at complex client sites.
Responsibilities
* Installing, commissioning, and maintaining fire alarm and security systems in line with BAFE requirements, British Standards, and approved design drawings and specifications.
* Carrying out commissioning, servicing, and ongoing maintenance of fire alarm systems and associated equipment at client premises.
* Completing modifications and alterations to existing fire alarm systems to meet evolving site requirements.
* Undertaking routine testing and inspection of fire alarm systems to ensure full compliance, safety, and operational reliability.
* Delivering small- and large-scale installations, working independently or collaboratively as part of a wider team.
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective servicing and repairs across a range of fire alarm systems.
* Completing both reactive callouts and planned preventative maintenance activities.
* Conducting thorough fault-finding and implementing timely, effective corrective solutions.
* Preparing clear and compliant RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) in line with company and site standards.
* Ensuring all inspection, testing, servicing, and maintenance records are accurately completed and properly maintained.

Qualifications
* Knowledge of Gent and other major fire alarm manufacturers.
* BS5839-1 (EAL Level 3) Competency or industry recognised fire alarm qualification.
