The Role
We are looking for a passionate and versatile Marketing Manager to lead our digital and trade marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to play a central role in driving growth.
You’ll oversee strategy and execution across both digital and trade marketing channels, manage external agencies, and play a key role in new product launches. You will also line-manage our part-time Social Media Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
* Develop and execute the digital marketing plan to support growth across DTC and retail
* Day-to-day lead for digital performance agency (Meta and Google Ads)
* Analyse performance and produce weekly reports
* Manage our Shopify website: update products, run promotions, manage and brief SEO/web dev agencies
* Lead Klaviyo email marketing: design and build, campaign creation, flow automation, audience optimisation
* Brief and support external agencies for content, creative, and PR
* Manage the marketing budget and allocate spend across channels
Trade Marketing
* Build seasonal trade marketing calendars and promotions
* Develop toolkits and assets for salon and spa partners
* Create and schedule trade promotional emails in Klaviyo
* Collaborate with commercial team on retailer launches and onboarding support
* Manage printed collateral and point of sale materials
New Product Development
* Assist in the research and development of new products (working in collaboration with external labs and manufacturers)
* Work with Marketing Director on the new product launch planning, including; packaging briefing, and creative campaign execution
Who we're looking for
Essential:
* 6+ years in marketing, ideally within the beauty, wellness or lifestyle sectors
* Ideally experience working for a DTC brand, including scaling and improving customer retention
* Hands-on experience with Canva, Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, and GA4
* Proven success managing agencies and executing campaigns directly
* Highly organised and confident juggling multiple workstreams and deadlines
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
* Comfortable line managing and mentoring team members remotely
* Creative and lateral thinker
* Motivated, self-starter
Desirable:
* Knowledge of e-commerce performance metrics and analytics
* Background in both B2B and DTC marketing strategies
Role Details
* Location: Staplehurst, Kent (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)
* Reports to: Marketing Director
* Team: Manages part-time Social Media Manager
* Salary: circa £43k
