Join Our Team as a Hub Maintenance Engineer
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hub Maintenance Engineer to join our Rugby Hub Team. On a day-to-day basis, you will report to our Senior Engineer, who will assign PPM and project work across the shift.
To join us at our Hub, you should be a multi-skilled Engineer, ideally with an Electrical bias. Some experience of Fault Finding across PLCs would be beneficial, in addition to your 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Come and join the Evri team!
You will be part of a team of Engineers working on a PANAMA shift pattern (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off), covering Days and Nights. Your responsibilities include Reactive Maintenance and PPM across the Hub. The role involves limited facilities work, notably no toilets.
Our Hub features cutting-edge equipment, including:
* Beumer Sorters
* Interroll Sorter
* Carousel Conveyors (EXPD, ASTEC, LAC)
* Caljan and Sovex Boom Conveyors
* Lenze Drives
* Profinet Systems
* SICK and EXPD Camera Systems
Once assigned your work projects, you will decide the best approach and proactively find solutions to complex issues. You may collaborate with external Engineers on certain projects, as well as participate in wider optimisation groups and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Experience in a distribution centre is not mandatory. If you have worked as a multi-skilled Engineer in FMCG, Automotive, or Manufacturing environments, and believe you have transferable skills and the ability to learn new ones, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
* Minimize downtime on Mission Critical Equipment through quick response and good practices
* Communicate and liaise with Operational management, Machine Minders, and others as necessary
* Assist in planning, detailing, and specifying frequencies for planned maintenance
* Monitor and liaise with external contractors on site
* Stay informed about technical developments relevant to the Hub's functions and make recommendations to the Senior Engineer or Hub Manager
What You Need to Succeed at Evri:
* A qualification in an Engineering discipline (e.g., City & Guilds) or demonstrable experience and skills
* Experience and knowledge in Automation is essential
* Electrical expertise with mechanical knowledge of Drivers, Belts, Motors, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Compressors, Dock Levellers, Roller Shutter Doors, Barcode Camera/Scanner Systems, and General Maintenance Equipment
