Our client is looking for a
detail-oriented Accounts Assistant
to join their Finance team in Heysham on a full time permanent basis. Experience in Accounts/Accounts Payable is essential for this role.

Responsibilities as a Accounts Assistant:
* Managing the Accounts Payable ledger: invoice processing, supplier statement reconciliation, and ledger housekeeping
* Preparing monthly supplier payment schedules
* Reconciling credit card transactions
* Checking and collating employee expenses
* Processing ad hoc payments
* Handling incoming post and issuing despatch labels
* Supporting the wider accounts team with general admin tasks
Requirements of the role:
* Experience in Accounts/Accounts Payable
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* A proactive attitude and attention to detail
