Overview
The Senior Service Coordinator will take responsibility for the day-to-day line management of the Service Delivery Care Co-ordinators and will provide higher level administration support. The post holder will support the improvement of processes and procedures to ensure effective service delivery. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality service is provided to patients, healthcare professionals, and key internal and external stakeholders and will need to demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with administrative staff and clinical colleagues to facilitate effective and integrated clinical care. The post holder will need to respond to and resolve challenging operational issues decisively and effectively.
Responsibilities
* Direct line management responsibility for the Service Delivery Care Co-ordinators, including 121s, annual appraisal reviews, absence, annual leave and performance-related issues.
* Support service delivery by ensuring tasks and referrals on SystmOne are actioned in a timely manner.
* Prioritise own workload to ensure tasks are completed effectively and that deadlines are met with minimum supervision.
* Provide administrative support with monthly reporting submissions as directed by the Service Manager.
* Implement systems and processes to ensure the smooth administration of the service.
* Provide comprehensive induction training and on-the-job training to all new team members and ensure completion of all statutory and mandatory training and updates.
* Manage workloads, delegating appropriate work and ensuring all work is dealt with as necessary.
* Manage difficult situations and provide support, help, or guidance to staff as required.
* Ensure all staff adhere to Nimbuscare policies and procedures at all times.
* Provide proactive, confident, and visible leadership to the Service Delivery Care Co-ordinators, with an eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure, while maintaining a good grasp of data and information.

We deliver Urgent Care services in collaboration with the hospital and GP practices in York, Scarborough, Whitby, Malton and Selby. We also provide community-based frailty care, which focuses on treating people in the community where we can. We also aim to shift services into the community where possible, for example our community diagnostic centres run in partnership with the Acute Trust.
