Job Title: Trainee Process Operative

Rate: £14.54 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and methodical individual with excellent communication skills to join our production team as a Trainee Process Operative. This role offers a clear and structured career path within the dairy industry, including training opportunities to progress from trainee to full Process Operative and beyond, potentially advancing to a Process Technician role
Key Responsibilities
Safely intake, control, and process products in a hygienic environment.
Prepare and operate machinery, including CIP (Clean-in-Place) equipment, in line with company standards and food safety legislation.
Monitor health, safety, and hygiene standards, maintaining clear communication across teams.
Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient workflow.
Train on internal tanks and pasteurisation processes while working toward a Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP qualification.
Requirements / Skills
Previous experience in food production is preferred; however, proactive candidates with precision and accuracy in fast-paced environments will also be considered.
Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-player mindset.
Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing demands.
Adherence to food hygiene standards: only one solid wedding band is permitted; jewellery, makeup, perfumes, and strong deodorants are not allowed in factory areas.
