Candidates are required have a BSc and/or MSc in Electrical or Building Services Engineering and have vast experience completing electrical designs for industrial, commercial and international projects using Relux or Dialux or Amtech.
It is beneficial for applicants to reside in London and have experience completing major infrastructure projects and liaising with contractors, designers and clients to discuss project specifications and designs at sites across the UK and or overseas.
Candidates will be required to reside locally to work on a hybrid basis. You may be expected to work from the office for the first six months of employment.
Excellent communications skills will also be required to liaise with contractors and clients on site.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will join a supportive team based in Surbiton to complete electrical designs for commercial, industrial, residential, marinas, ports and harbours using Revit, Amtech, Dialux, Relux and AutoCAD.
You will also be required to check technical work, mentor team members and complete complex electrical designs for mixed use developments across the UK and overseas.
You will also be expected to deliver projects to time and budget, meeting Clients’ expectations and assist with site visits to meet and coordinate between internal and external design teams, clients, architects and contractors to discuss sustainable design concepts.
