This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to work within Lower Key Stage 2, supporting pupils as they develop confidence, independence, and strong foundations across the curriculum. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering high-quality teaching across all areas of the National Curriculum. You will plan engaging, structured, and creative lessons that inspire curiosity and encourage pupils to take ownership of their learning. High expectations for behaviour, achievement, and presentation are central to this role, alongside a supportive and inclusive classroom approach. You will use assessment effectively to track progress, identify next steps, and ensure all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately. Differentiation will be key, particularly for pupils with SEND, EAL, or those requiring targeted interventions. You will also work closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression across Lower Key Stage 2. Collaboration is a strong feature of the school’s culture. You will work alongside experienced teachers, support staff, and senior leaders to contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement initiatives. Strong relationships with parents and carers are encouraged and supported. This position is suitable for Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners. ECTs will receive a structured induction and mentoring programme, while experienced teachers will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and share best practice.
