About the Role
A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Portsmouth is looking for a Classroom Assistant to join their team. You’ll work closely with teachers to support learning activities, help pupils stay engaged, and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
As a Classroom Assistant, You’ll:
* Support pupils during lessons and activities
* Assist with classroom organisation and preparation
* Encourage positive behaviour and participation
* Help children develop socially and emotionally
* Be part of a collaborative and caring school team
* Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
* A friendly, patient, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
