Overview
Nursery Teacher – Branston Locks Primary & Nursery School, Branston Locks, Burton Upon Trent, England, United Kingdom. Fixed term for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Full time, required from 20 October 2025. Salary: MS1 to MS6: £32,916 to £45,352 per annum.
Responsibilities
* Create an engaging and caring learning environment for nursery-age children.
* Plan effective lessons to develop early reading, writing and communication skills.
* Assess, record and report on pupil progress; use evidence to guide learning and progression.
* Contribute to school improvement by supporting curriculum implementation, creating resources, and designing learning environments that enable all to achieve and progress.
* Collaborate within a small team and work with the leadership team as part of the John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) to support school goals.
Qualifications
* Experience teaching in Early Years (nursery) with ability to meet the needs of all children.
* Strong classroom practitioner with knowledge of developing early reading, writing and communication skills.
