An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the East Ross Adult Social Care Team. This position at 36 hrs per week will enable the right candidate an opportunity to be part of a fully integrated adult social care service in a supportive environment within NHS Highland.

As part of the East Ross Integrated Care team, we provide a multi-disciplinary approach to assessing the needs of our residents and carers of the East Ross area.

The right candidate will already have experience in Adult Support & Protection and be trained in the Council Officer role. Candidates should demonstrate a sound understanding & knowledge of the legislation that underpins core statutory social work practice and who are committed to supporting and protecting the rights of vulnerable adults in our community. You will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to social work values and principles and apply these to practice.

The East Ross area is a beautiful part of the Highlands, where living and working supports a good work/life balance.

* Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
