Role Purpose Shape pricing strategy at a pivotal moment This is a standout opportunity to play a defining role in how Premier Foods responds to one of the most volatile periods the FMCG sector has faced in decades. As Strategic Pricing Manager, youll sit at the heart of commercial decision-making-protecting margins, unlocking growth and building future-fit pricing capability that will stand the test of time. Youll combine commercial judgement with advanced analytics and AI-driven tools, bringing greater speed, precision and insight to pricing and promotional decisions-today and for the future. What youll be doing Leading cost recovery in a dynamic environment Owning the end-to-end cost inflation and recovery agenda to protect margins. Moving legacy Excel-based pricing processes into scalable, automated solutions. Optimising promotional investment Using data, analytics and data science to reshape short-term promotional investment. Designing trade plans that optimise revenue and profit across categories and channels. Embeding a more strategic, insight-led approach to promotional effectiveness. Strengthening pricing governance Safeguarding revenue through disciplined pricing compliance and proactive risk management. Championing best-in-class, AI-enabled pricing and analytics tools. Partnering with IT and external providers to develop future-ready pricing capability. What youll bring Commercial FMCG experience with deep understanding of pricing and trade investment. Strong financial and analytical capability, ideally from a commercial finance or analytical background. Advanced Excel and modelling skills, with a passion for automation and AI-driven insight. Confidence to influence senior stakeholders and drive change in fast-paced environments. Resilience, agility and comfort operating in complexity.
