We’re looking for a Strategic People Partner to join our central People team to support our Retail and Express Business. This role is all about project delivery, insight, planning and cross‑functional collaboration. You’ll support some of our most important people programmes — bringing structure, clarity and pace to initiatives that improve colleague experience, simplify processes, and strengthen business capability.
This is a central based role ideal for someone who is highly organised, analytically confident, commercially aware, and ready to work with senior stakeholders across a complex business.
What You'll Do
1. Lead and support workstreams within major people projects (e.g., workforce planning, simplification, organisational change).
2. Translate strategy into clear plans, milestones and deliverables.
3. Use data and insight to shape decisions and produce high‑quality papers, analysis and updates.
4. Work closely with Centres of Excellence (Reward, Talent, ER, OD, Learning) to coordinate and align people solutions.
5. Create documentation, reporting packs and governance materials that support project delivery.
6. Identify risks, issues and dependencies — and help drive them to resolution.
7. Improve people processes and routines by simplifying, standardising and removing friction.
What You'll Bring
8. Experience in HR, people operations or project-based roles within a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong organisational and planning skills; able to manage multiple priorities with discipline and pace.
10. Confident with data, dashboards and structured analysis.
11. Natural collaborator, able to work across multiple Centres of Excellence.
12. Clear, concise communicator — comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
13. A proactive mindset, with the curiosity and initiative to improve how we work.
