Our client is looking to recruit a Electrical Trades Manager on a 6 month initial contract. Manage and lead a team of staff in collaboration with colleagues and contractors providing repairs, maintenance and improvements to council owned dwellings, properties and land managed by Landlord Services within the HRA ensuring completed works are compliant with relevant building regulations and housing legislation in particular electrical testing, repairs and planned maintenance. Maintain day-to-day line management and development of all staff and supervisors in the team and developing an effective on boarding plan to provide consistent continuity. Assist the Service Manager with the monitoring and development of repairs policies and updating legislative change, seeking best practice, ideas and innovative solutions and ensuring they are applied within the Service. Ensure customer engagement in the service to empower and enable customers to make decisions on how the service is delivered.
