This is a key role within a modern, fast-paced warehouse for a tech-driven company with a strong reputation for innovation and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily running of picking, packing, and shipping operations alongside team and shipping leads. Manage and motivate a team of around 12 warehouse operatives. Take key holder responsibility, opening and locking up the site for each shift. Plan and allocate shifts, responding quickly and effectively to operational changes. Liaise with third-party couriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Maintain operational standards, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety at all times. Communicate effectively at all levels of the business - from shop floor to senior management. Proactively identify and resolve workflow issues before they impact productivity. Essential Requirements: Minimum 5 years of Team Leader or Supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment. Proven ability to manage and develop a team to achieve performance targets. Trustworthy and reliable, with previous key holder experience (or suitable to be trained as one). Strong organisational and planning skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience working with third-party couriers and delivery processes. Good IT skills, comfortable using warehouse management or stock control systems. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Additional Information: This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working 08:00 to 20:00 (12-hour shifts). This is a 12-week temp to perm position - successful candidates will have the opportunity to move into a permanent role after the initial period.
