HGV 1 DRIVERS - LLANELLI
Forte Recruitment Solutions are looking for experienced HGV 1 Drivers within the Llanelli & Carmarthenshire areas for trunk runs & store deliveries. AM & PM Shifts Available.
Salary:
Monday to Friday - £200 to £225 per shift.
Saturday - £220 to £250 per shift.
Sunday - £230 to £260 per shift.
Hours of Work:
* Start times from 4am onwards for day shifts.
* Start times 4pm onwards for night shifts.
* Option of working either a 4 on 4 off, or, 5 on 3 off rolling rota.
Duties Involved:
The successful HGV 1 Drivers will be required to undertake the following duties:-
* Driving a HGV 1 (cat C+E) vehicle to locations specified by the company.
* Loading & unloading of your vehicle.
* Complete daily run sheets and carry out daily vehicle checks.
* Report any defects to the vehicle to your Line Manager.
* Meeting multiple customers.
* Checking and confirming delivery accuracy against PDA/paperwork.
* Drive safely & following all laws and driving legislation to maintain a safe and healthy work. environment.
* Follows pre-planned route accurately without deviation from set course.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles.
* Heavy lifting required.
Successful Applicants:
The successful HGV 1 Drivers will need to demonstrate the following traits and experience:-
* Full HGV 1 (cat C+E) UK Driving Licence, valid CPC & Digi Cards.
* Able to lift and handle heavy loads.
* Courteous & possess good customer service skills.
* Able to communicate & problem solve.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Patient, enthusiastic, attention to detail.
* Be prepared to undertake training as required.
* Be a team player.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Have a positive, can do attitude.
* Hard working, loyal and committed.
* Have a flexible approach.
