Vehicle Technician
Location: Bisley
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to carry out mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and overhaul activities on rotating and static equipment within an industrial engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, pumps, and associated equipment.
Carry out mechanical overhauls, alignment, dismantling, and reassembly to OEM standards.
Diagnose mechanical faults, including wear, misalignment, and vibration-related issues.
Complete maintenance documentation using CMMS systems.
Work safely under Permit to Work, LOTO, and site safety procedures.
Operate lifting and access equipment where required.Requirements
NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or engineering environment.
Strong fault-finding skills and safety awareness.This role may involve shift work, shutdowns, and emergency call-outs.
