We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Process Engineer to join our Cement and Packed Products Team at Tunstead Cement Plant near Buxton.
Responsibilities
* Gain a detailed understanding of cement engineering, manufacturing, and production via a dedicated Tarmac development programme and the CRH international technical programme
* Hands-on experience on site, contributing to successful continuous plant performance, and addressing production and process bottlenecks for improved output, stability and environmental aspects
* In the first 3 years, primarily based on one plant with opportunities to gain experience on other plants across the UK & Ireland Cluster or participate in an international assignment
* Assist in tracking key process parameters and analyse data to optimise plant performance, making recommendations for modifications
* Gain knowledge, understanding and practical application of all safety policies, procedures and practices and be active in leading and driving safety standards and improvements
* Contribute to root cause analysis to understand costs and business impacts from plant unplanned downtime
* Play a key role in important projects to improve ways of working and deliver added value
* Take pride in all work and remain determined to succeed
