Warehouse Team Leader Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader Location: Coventry, CV7 Pay Rate: £13.42 per hour Hours: Full-time Wednesday to Sunday OR Friday to Tuesday 06:00 15:00 About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily operations within our warehouse in Coventry. You will be responsible for leading a team of operatives, ensuring productivity targets are met, and maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who can motivate a team while also supporting day-to-day warehouse activities. Key Responsibilities Supervising and coordinating a team of warehouse operatives Delegating tasks and monitoring performance to meet daily targets Leading by example by supporting picking, packing, and loading activities Ensuring all goods are stored and handled correctly Overseeing stock control, stock checks, and inventory accuracy Training and onboarding new team members Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed at all times Reporting any issues, delays, or performance concerns to management Skills & Experience Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Good organisational and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills Physically capable of supporting operational tasks (lifting up to 20kg) Forklift or MHE experience is desirable (training can be provided) English speaking (Mandarin is advantageous) What We Offer Competitive hourly rate Full training and ongoing support Friendly and supportive working environment Opportunities for progression and development If you are a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys motivating a team to succeed, we would love to hear from you.
