About The Role
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Test and Run Technician to join our friendly Sunbelt Rentals service centre team.
In this busy role, you will carry out basic electrical and functionality testing, as well as servicing and cleaning products returned from hire to ensure they are safe, reliable, and presentable for rehire. Your duties will include updating service records using IT systems and identifying when spare parts are needed to ensure repairs are timely and cost-effective.
You’ll be a key member of the team and be comfortable working flexibly to support overall service centre operations, such as ensuring the workshop is safe and tidy, assisting engineers with assembling larger equipment, or supporting drivers with loading and unloading equipment from vehicles.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will have experience maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment and will bring:
* Basic electrical skills (12/24v)
* Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
* Ability to adapt quickly to support others
* A high level of commitment to and awareness of health and safety
* Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering fields is desirable.
