Job Title: Forklift Truck (FLT) Operator & Tyre Loader Location: Carlisle Pay Rate: £13.41 per hour Working Days: Monday to Friday Start Date: Immediate starts available Induction Date : ASAP About the Role: We're currently looking for a reliable and hard-working FLT Operator (Counterbalance) to join our team. This is a physically active role that involves both forklift operation and manual loading of tyres to and from bays and belts, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow throughout the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and efficiently Load and unload tyres to and from bays and conveyor belts Support warehouse operations with tyre movement, stacking, and organisation Assist with general warehouse duties as required Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment Follow all health and safety procedures at all times Requirements: Must have a recognised certificate RITTB or NPORS Previous experience in a warehouse or tyre-handling environment preferred Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties Strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts: 6:00am to 2:00pm 2:00pm to 10:00pm 10:00pm to 6:00am Training Provided: Full induction training given Benefits We are excited to offer our workforce FREE access to Perks at Work - a comprehensive discount platform with exclusive savings on travel, home appliances, cinema tickets and more.
