The Education Authority is now recruiting for an: Information Governance Officerto join their team Job Reference Number:25002317 Contract:Permanent Status:Full-Time 36 hours per week Grade/Scale: Assistant Principal Officer | NJC pts 37-40 | £46,731 - £49,764 per annum Location:Northern Ireland base location to be agreed on appointment Job Purpose In this role, under the Head of Information Governance, you will be responsible for leading aspects of the development of an Information Governance Framework for the Education Authority and schools. You will also support the IG Manager in the implementation of an integrated Information Governance Framework, and agree on organisational standards and best practice approach to the Information Governance, to ensure the highest levels of compliance with the relevant Information Governance related legislation. Essential Criteria Have a bachelors degree or an equivalent/higher qualification and have 2 years demonstratable experience of working in an Information Governance role OR Have 5 years demonstratable experience of working in an Information Governance role Demonstratable experience of successfully managing or supervising staff in the delivery of a customer focused service Demonstratable experience of contributing to the development of policy or procedures Have a proven ability to successfully prioritise and deliver a busy programme of work Have a proven ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a range of levels Have a high level of IT literacy using a range of Microsoft Office applications and a working knowledge and an understanding of practical use of IT systems Have access to a suitable vehicle that will enable you to carry out the mobility requirements of the post in an efficient and effective manner OR Be able to provide sufficient information that you have access to an appropriate alternative form of transport that will enable you to carry out the mobility requirements of the post in an efficient and effective manner For the full job person specification and to apply, please click apply were you will be then redirected to our careers page!
