You will support individuals facing multiple, overlapping challenges such as: Homelessness Substance use Mental health issues Offending behaviour Poor physical health You will work with a small caseload of 7-10 clients, building meaningful, trusting relationships and supporting each person to move forward at a pace that works for them. As their main point of contact, you will bring consistency, structure and reassurance. This role also involves close partnership working through a multi-agency team, ensuring support plans are coordinated, clear, and focused on what matters most to each individual. This is a challenging yet incredibly rewarding role where small steps lead to big change. Job Purpose Provide tailored, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs. Build strong, trusting relationships as the client's key point of contact. Support clients to develop and follow a realistic plan that promotes stability, safety and wellbeing. Work collaboratively with external services to ensure support is consistent, joined-up and effective. What You'll Need Essential Criteria 3 years' experience working with socially excluded people. Proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with clients, colleagues and external agencies. Experience delivering client-focused support and assessing strengths, needs and risks. Ability to self-manage, plan and prioritise workload effectively. Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Full driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle (mileage allowance provided), or if disabled, access to suitable transport to fulfil the requirements of the post, including responding at short notice. Willingness to undertake an Access NI check. Ability to register with and maintain NISCC registration. Why Join Simon Community?
