Job Description
As a People Partner, you will provide HR operational support to Regional Directors and Area Managers, contributing to the implementation of the region’s people plan. You will be part of the People team, supporting initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, engagement, and performance. You will represent the Retail People Team and manage projects across Retail and the wider business, such as engagement surveys and shop closures.
What You Will Do
1. Provide operational HR advice and guidance to Regional Stakeholders.
2. Partner with Regional Directors and Operations Managers, offering coaching, training, support, and challenge.
3. Assist in monitoring performance and capability of Regional Managers and Area Managers, identifying training needs.
4. Implement organizational change activities with regional management teams.
5. Support key programs like Performance Development, Management Development, and Engagement Surveys to drive cultural change and business performance.
6. Prepare for Regional Employee Forum meetings, including presentations and agendas.
7. Participate in Employee Forum meetings, listening to colleagues and driving actions via Area Managers.
8. Plan Regional Team Meetings to ensure clarity on regional priorities.
9. Collaborate across HR functions to support continuous improvement and build a strong HR team.
Qualifications
* CIPD qualification and Degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
* Experience within an Ulrich business partner model and matrix organizations.
* Strong communication and influencing skills, adaptable approach.
* Ability to handle complex issues and make sound judgments under pressure.
* Data-driven decision-making skills.
* Good commercial acumen.
* Effective planning, organization, and multitasking abilities.
* Strong generalist HR skills.
* UK driving license beneficial.
