The West Exmoor Federation is looking to recruit a Level 3 Forest School Leader who has a passion for outdoor education and engaging children with the natural world. You will be required to deliver progressive and creative outdoor education to groups of children from across our federation. With our own yurt, productive garden, outdoor kitchen, wooded area and access to adjacent fields, our outdoor classroom is well established. Initially the role will be for two terms, but there may be scope for this to be extended and/or to become permanent. The post is temporary pending staff structure review.

In order to meet our exacting requirements, you will need to:
1. Have a proven track record of delivering high quality outdoor learning.
2. Demonstrate high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
3. Be empathetic and supportive of our relational approach to learning.
4. Be self-motivated, well-organised and able to manage time effectively.
5. Demonstrate initiative and embrace autonomy.
6. Be a team player and committed towards assisting the federation in striving for excellence.
7. Hold an accredited Level 3 Forest School qualification and an appropriate First Aid qualification.
8. Hold a DCC Minibus Drivers Certificate, or be willing to take a test to gain one.
9. Be fully supportive of the Christian ethos and values of a Church of England School.
